This app was developed in the scope of the FleXunity project and is part of a set of tools of a “Virtual Power Plant (VPP) Management Platform” with the aim of validating in real world conditions the flexibility management of energy assets within the project deployed Energy Communities in UK and Iberia.
This app is an energy management app, used by the household pilot site owners, that allows the user to monitor the electricity consumption and generation, and control the electrical appliances connected to the integrated smart plugs. The app shows which parts of the house are inefficient and where the user can save energy. It also helps to optimize the use of the electrical appliances, in an easy way, eliminating waste and unnecessary costs.
The main objective of FleXunity is to develop and validate a ready to market Virtual Power Plant (VPP) Management Platform based on advanced Artificial Intelligence, remote automatization and Blockchain technology to optimize Energy Communities flexibility, match consumer’s energy needs, ensure further development of RES, optimize distributed energy resources, and contribute to the current energy security and climate change challenges, while enhancing retailers and aggregators competitive advantage.
